We went to Glenorchy Sunday Market first thing in the am & had our breakie there. It's a very typical Sunday Market and we did not find it that interesting.

After visiting the Sunday Market, we started our Convict Trail journey. We went to Richmond Historical Village first to visit the Richmond Gaol, Richmond bridge & St John Catholic Church. We then went to Dunalley for lunch and our final destination was Port Arthur. It was a busy day for us - we did a lot of driving, walking & sight-seeing and we got back to B&B really late that night.
Richmond Gaol [1825]
Richmond Gaol is Australia's oldest convict gaol - very interesting to visit.
Richmond Bridge
The oldest bridge in Australia, built by convict labour between 1823 and 1825 for movement of military, police and convicts between Hobart and Port Arthur.
PEUGEOT 307
St John Catholic Church
We went to St John Catholic Church for a short visit after visiting the Richmond Bridge. It's the oldest existing Catholic church in Australia.
Lunch @ Dunalley Fish Market
After visiting Richmond, we started our journey to Port Arthur. We had lunch at Dunalley Fish Market - traditional Fish, seafood & chips. The view was wonderful as you can see from the pictures.
Pictures in front of bridge
On our way to Port Arthur, we had to stop for about 15 mins in front of this bridge junction to wait for the bridge to get re conjuncted after letting 2 boats getting across. We were fortunate enough to know what's happening as our car was the first car in queue (we could get out of car to take pictures as well). There are so many cars behind us not knowing what's happening.
PORT ARTHUR HISTORIC SITE

Photos taken in front of different buildings at Port Arthur Historic Site.
These pictures are taken outside/inside of the church at Port Arthur Historic site. The roof of this church was all burnt down and the view from inside of church was just fabulous at night when we did ghost tour that night.
These are the photos we took during the Port Arthur Historic Ghost Tour. Yes, it was rather scary... the picture on left was taken in a room where doctors used to do dissection. The one on right was taken in an old prison.
